No. The phone's camera scans barcodes; a USB or Bluetooth scanner works too if you have one.
Can my shop helper use it on another phone?
Yes, on Standard and above: each person has their own sign-in, and you choose what they can see and do.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Sales, stock and customer accounts are kept on your phone, so the counter keeps working when the signal drops. Everything syncs when you're back online.
